The three products of Gibson Chemical show good performance on reduction of pollutant emission index, specially over the fossil diesel from the tests made by the outsourcing and professional laboratories. The results provide us with biodiesel as an alternative. Our government has established petroleum management law for the prevention of illegal trade by malicious mean. However, the overcorrection of the law and the incomplete law is over-protecting the refinery causes the limited development for the alternative energy industry. Furthermore, the government finance is too limited to support the new industries these years. The consequence is that the replacement energy industry and the technology is striving for survival in Taiwan. It is therefore hoped that government can lead the use of new energy products in order to expect the technology from self research and development can start to be rooted.
