(simulation of car driving for 5,000km )
(simulation of car driving for 5,000km )
Test results after mileage accumulation:
Formaldehyde concentration is not significantly increased after using biodiesel.
Conclusion of accumulated mileage tests
- The release of HC, CO, and particulates is increased for the three types of fuel, premium diesel, BD9505, and B100 after accumulated mileage of 5,000km.
- When comparing premium diesel with BD9505 and B100, the decrease of THC and smoke is most significant.
- When engine is at 0km, the reduction of THC for biodiesel is more than 40% while smoke reduction is 26% and 40%; and PM10 is reduced by 10%.
- When engine has run for 5,000km, the THC reduction for biodiesel is 35%-40% while smoke reduction is 28% and 35%; PM10 is reduced by 10%.
- Fuel BD9505 and B100 both can supply engine for normal operation for 5,000km.
